Despite the drop, 2025 remained a challenging year for the digital asset sector, with over $2.2 billion lost in the top 10 hacks. Notable incidents included a $50 million address-poisoning scam, a $27.3 million multisig breach, and exploits on babur.sol, Trust Wallet, Unleash Protocol and Flow blockchain.
