So far, Graham Platner, disgraced and in hiding after being accused of drunkenly raping a former girlfriend — an accusation he denies — has been resisting calls to end his Senate campaign in Maine. But state and national Democrats are ready to move on. And understandably so. Whether the party keeps its chance to retake control of the Senate now depends on replacing Platner on the November ballot.
