Education spending in real terms in Argentina drops to lowest since 2006

Education Secretariat has 1.2 trillion pesos less (at 2025 prices) budgeted than in 2006. One of the hardest-hit programmes is the Teaching Salary Compensation Fund, which has gone from 1.5 trillion pesos a decade ago to just one billion pesos today.
