India, New Zealand to sign FTA on April 27, target trade boost

India and New Zealand will sign a free trade agreement on April 27, which will double bilateral trade and attract USD 20 billion in investment over 15 years. The deal will grant Indian companies duty-free access to New Zealand’s markets. The agreement will also address non-tariff barriers and boost the pharma and medical devices industry.
