Indian Bank announced a board-level directorate change effective 13.05.2026, with Shri Samir Kumar, Economic Advisor at the Government of India's Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, nominated as GOI Nominee Director under Central Government Notification eF.No.6/2(iii)/2022-BO.I. Shri Samir Kumar assumed office with immediate effect, replacing Shri Alok Pande, who ceased to be a Director of the Bank on 13.05.2026 at end of the day. The Bank confirmed that Shri Samir Kumar is not related to other Directors and is not debarred from directorship by any SEBI or other authority order. A detailed profile of the incoming director is to be submitted in due course.
