India's private space sector reached a new height on Sunday. GalaxEye successfully launched its Mission Drishti satellite. This 190-kilogram satellite is the largest ever built by an Indian private company. Mission Drishti is the world's first OptoSAR satellite. It combines electro-optical and radar sensors for advanced Earth observation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the launch as a major achievement.
