Kazakhstan, the world’s largest uranium producer, has agreed with the United States to pursue cooperation on secure supplies of critical minerals through a memorandum of understanding. The document was signed in Washington by Yersayin Nagaspayev, Kazakhstan’s minister of industry and construction, and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also in attendance.
