Mumbai Police reported 952 cyber-crime cases in Jan–Feb this year, up from 715 during the same period last year. Most cases involved credit/debit card fraud and investment scams. Of the total, only 120 were detected and 107 accused arrested. Police said awareness drives are ongoing to alert citizens about emerging cyber threats.
