Ribbon cutting held for New Mobile PA CareerLink® unit

KERSEY — Workforce Solutions for North Central PA joined state and local leaders April 2 to officially cut the ribbon on the region’s newest mobile PA CareerLink® unit. This new resource will serve residents, job seekers, students, and employers across six rural counties — Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter — and will bring career services directly to the communities that need them. The mobile unit will provide career navigation, employer connections, training information, and job search assistance beginning in mid-April. “(The) ribbon cutting represents expanded opportunity for Pennsylvanians who have faced challenges accessing workforce services,” said Pam Streich, executive director of Workforce Solutions for North Central PA. “By bringing PA CareerLink® into our towns and neighborhoods, we are removing barriers, strengthening our workforce, and ensuring that every worker and employer has access to the support they need.” Local workforce partners, community organizations, and representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry joined Workforce Solutions for the celebration.
