Shenandoah faces potential $144K debt out of COVID relief funds

SHENANDOAH — The borough is facing a potential loss of over $140,000 due to alleged improper use of COVID relief funds, officials said Monday. Borough Manager Mike Cadau discussed the issue at the monthly borough council meeting, noting that a forensic audit is being conducted on the alleged mishandling of funds on certain payments made prior to the current borough administration.
