UN Urges Zambia to Halt Arbitrary Arrests of Opposition Members

The United Nations voiced concern at reports of Zambian opposition members being detained during its Aug. 13 election, while observers raised questions about the fairness of the ballot that comfortably returned President Hakainde Hichilema to power.
