The County of Prince Edward's watermain flushing and hydrant maintenance program will take place in the Picton and Wellington Drinking Water Systems for the next six to eight weeks. Flushing will take place between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Watermains will be flushed and hydrants will be serviced throughout the County's Drinking Water Systems in accordance with the Ontario Fire Code. Customers in the immediate area of hydrant flushing may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and some discolouration of tap water while flushing is being completed.
